Eurocode 8 — Seismic Design of Buildings

Principles, seismic action, structural analysis, capacity design and detailing — a professional workflow for earthquake-resistant buildings.

EC8-P01Professional · Intermediate6 h9 modules20 lessons

Course overview

A progressive professional course covering principles, seismic action, site effects, structural analysis, ductility, capacity design, reinforced-concrete detailing and a complete conceptual workflow.

Eurocode edition control

Edition control: this course teaches stable engineering principles across the first- and second-generation Eurocode transition. Every project must identify the exact adopted EN 1998 edition, amendments and National Annex. Numerical, clause-specific and Nationally Determined content remains marked for expert/source verification until authoritative ISOGKP source material is connected.
